How to take part:
- Fill in the registration form below to register a team of up to three (3) photographers before 13th March
- Come to Microsoft Singapore on 13th March 10:00am for the kick-off event (see agenda table)
- Each team is required to synth 2 locations (given by Microsoft)
- Upload your shots to create a synth between 13th March (2pm) to18th March (12 noon).
- Tag your synth as "Photo360"

What constitutes an eligible synth?
An eligible synth will need to meet the following requirements:
- Photos taken with at least 5 megapixel digital cameras
- A minimum of 100 photos taken (we recommend that you upload less than 300 photos due to performance issues)
- Above 80% synthy
- A minimum of 70 word description about the attraction site

Photo taking guidelines:
- Try to avoid CCTV cameras, car license plates and faces in any of your photos
|
Judging Criteria:
Each entry will be judged by a panel of experts from
Microsoft and related industries. Judges will evaluate the
entries based on the judging criteria below. Highest overall
scores from each category will be selected as winners.
- Location and orientation: What locations within a particular site are chosen and at what orientation (20%)
- Detail: Emphasize things that make your site unique (20%)
- Coverage: Synth as much as you can to provide a captivating experience for online visitors (20%)
- Photo Quality:15%
- Judges Discretion:15%
- Description: Include metadata about the sites you upload (10%)
